Needing Financial Assistance to Improve the Energy Efficiency of your Home?

Posted on June 9, 2016

Kentville Town Council has given first reading of a Property Assessed Clean Energy Bylaw (PACE), which if adopted, will give Council the authorization to provide financing to homeowners to install energy efficient equipment in their homes. The program would be a voluntary financing mechanism whereby the Town finances energy-related improvements to privately owned properties, and places a special tax on those properties to recover its costs over a number of years.  Read the full report and draft Bylaw here.
