January 13th Downtown Walkabout
This walkabout will begin at the Calkin Building, introducing participants to the active transportation equipment the town has available and serving as a meeting spot with light refreshments. A walking tour of the downtown area will commence shortly, allowing us a chance to engage with community members about the potential opportunities for improved active transportation, as well as the barriers they face in their day-to-days.

January 16th Seniors Workshop: Kings Riverside Court (Bluenose Lounge)—10-11 am
A one-hour workshop with local seniors will allow us the opportunity to facilitate an activity and conversation about how we can improve their experience of their streetscape, either as a pedestrian, cyclist or otherwise.
January 16th Drop-In Session: Kentville Library Community Room—5-8 pm
This open house style event will invite the community to drop in anytime throughout these three hours. Participants can walk around various stations in order to learn about the project and provide their input on the trips they take, their physical barriers to active transportation and potential solutions. Interactive activities will help us to gather qualitative information, while serving as a conversation piece for participants.
