Seasonal Activities for Fall & Winter 2017
Indoor Community Yoga begins again on Wednesday, October 4th at 5:30pm at the Recreation Centre with Amanda Cox. Registration is not required. Drop in fee is $5 which goes into the Spike Fund.
The Kentville Centennial Arena offers public skating times throughout the week for everyone to enjoy!

The Town of Kentville offers two nights of Pickleball fun each week. Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm and Tuesdays from 8:30-10:00pm at KCA school. While pre-registration is required for Monday night, you’re welcome to drop in on Tuesday nights ($2 drop in fee) and see what it’s all about.
If you’re interested in learning a new handicraft- rug hooking might be for you! Join Lynn Denney and Monda Pearl for drop-in rug hooking on Tuesdays in the lower Rec. Centre from 1:00-3:00pm! $5 drop-in fee for each session, and all of the expert advice you can handle. There will be a beginners course offering up-coming this winter, so check back for details.
SHAFT returns indoors at the Soccer Dome as the weather cools off. Bring the family and come play together! Staff will be on hand to provide some things to play with and some ideas on how you can play as a family. SHAFT runs Saturday mornings from 10am-noon, from November 4- December 16 & January 6- March 17. This program in run in partnership with the Kings County Family Resource Centre.
Starting November 6th, each weekday from 10-11am at the Soccer Dome there is FREE indoor walking and open turf space for parents and tots!
