Volunteer Recognition Brunch
April 8, 2017
It is almost that time of year again; National Volunteer Week! The primary purpose of this specially designated week is to thank and honour people who donate their time to help others by supporting the causes in which they believe. Volunteer Week also serves to reinforce the human values that volunteering represents and increase awareness of the vital importance of volunteerism to our communities.
The Town of Kentville would like to honour its area Volunteers at the Kentville Volunteer Recognition Celebration and Awards Ceremony and brunch on Saturday, April 8th 2017 (previously stated as a ceremony on April 13th, this event is now on April 8th). We are inviting our community to nominate a volunteer who has exhibited exceptional volunteerism to be recognized at the Awards Ceremony in April. All Volunteers nominated are invited to the Awards Ceremony, and will receive a recognition certificate from The Town with a special Kentville pin.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this special event, please contact Jennifer. We look forward to hearing from you. Please complete the enclosed form and return it to the Kentville Parks and Recreation Department by March 24th.
