A public meeting held November 27, 2017, Town Council gave First Reading to amend Chapter 57 Trail Use Bylaw.

The Town of Kentville provides emergency management services at the local level for Kentville residents, and participates in the regional coordination of emergency response with the other municipal units in Kings County. During emergency events such as extended power outages, extreme weather events or other emergencies, residents are encouraged to be prepared for the first 72 hours.
