Oakdene Park

Oakdene Park is a neighbourhood park located in the north end of Kentville.

It is made up of a large open space with 2 soccer fields, a stage, a natural playground, basketball court, community garden and a duck pond that can also be used for skating in the winter time.

The new natural playground features swings, slides, a serpent cave, spider web net, two ziplines, and a mud kitchen.

Oakdene park is unfenced and unlighted but has enjoyable trails and footpaths, perfect for walking, cross county skiing and tobogganing.

Oakdene Park was established around 1966.

There are two entrances to Oakdene Park:
1) off of Campbell Road
2) to the right off of Oakdene Avenue;

Both entrances offer parking.
