The Town of Kentville provides emergency management services at the local level for Kentville residents, and participates in the regional coordination of emergency response with the other municipal units in Kings County. During emergency events such as extended power outages, extreme weather events or other emergencies, residents are encouraged to be prepared for the first 72 hours. The Town of Kentville is a partner with the “Kings County, Regional Emergency Management Organization” which works to ensure emergency management is coordinated and efficient with opportunities for procedures, training, and planning exercises.
