As the Town of Kentville continues to prioritize much needed repairs to our streets and sidewalks, there will be a variety of jobs big and small happening this season.  Consult this page for updates as we move through the construction and repair season.  All scheduled work posted below is dependent on weather conditions being favourable on the morning which the work has been scheduled.  Changes will be posted as we become aware.    

PLANNED / SCHEDULED CONSTRUCTION NOTICES 2026 

Wednesday June 10, 2026 - ABERDEEN STREET 

Aberdeen Street from Webster Street to Main will be fully closed on Wednesday June 10th to accommodate complete repaving.  The entire section from curb to curb will be milled, paved, and lined. Sidewalks will remain open. Lights on Main will be changed to allow traffic to flow consistently. 

Thursday June 11 and Friday June 12, 2026 -PARK STREET (WEST END)

Park Street from Shylah Drive to the entrance of MacDougall Heights Subdivision will be reduced to a single lane to accommodate paving. Traffic control will be in place, delays expected.
