Interested in a making a Switch towards a greener future? Switch Kentville makes it easier than ever to do upgrades to your home that will save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 

This program provides low interest financing to complete energy efficiency upgrades and also home upgrades relating to sustainability.  It also connects you with an Energy Advisor to guide you through the whole process. This includes answering your questions, assisting with obtaining quotes, and ensuring you take advantage of the many provincial and federal rebate programs. These loans are tied to the property, and payments are made by the owner through property taxes.  The town of Kentville used a financial and administrative model called "Property Assessed Clean Energy" to support this program.

This program will launch in the August or September of 2023.
