The Town of Kentville is getting ready to welcome a lot of new residents to the Town!  There are forecasts that the population of Kentville will double in the next twenty years!  That kind of growth needs a new kind of plan - a Planning Advisory Committee (or PAC) will be created to help guide the town in the preparation of a Growth Plan and a Secondary Plan, which will outline where and how to grow, infrastructure to support growth, municipal services, and resources to protect, and will also have a focus on growth in the south end of the town along the proposed Donald E. Hiltz Connector Road.  

If you have experience in planning, policy making, community development, housing, economic development or local government, we invite you to apply to join this committee and help Kentville evolve.  This group will meet monthly for one year, or until the plans are complete.  After completion of the plans, the committee will dissolve and a new committee will be formed to guide the town in the implementation, updating and evaluation of the plan.
