Visit the Pumpkin People this October, and you could win cool prizes!  We just LOVE giving away prizes.  A few of our Pumpkin People scenes, don't have a story!  They need YOU to write it for them.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Jerome the Gravekeeper will be joined by Kentville ghosts to share stories of Kentville's dark past.  Settle in for a show at the distanced picnic tables provided, or bring your own comfy chair and snuggle with your bubble.  All are welcome!  

Kentville Business Community is launching the first annual month-long culinary celebration of all things pumpkin called “The Great Pumpkin Palate Pleaser”. While you are in town for the Pumpkin People Festival during the month of October, be sure to stop at one (or a few!) of our wonderful food establishments in town to try their delectable pumpkin menu items! There are 20 places or Pumpkin People characters in Kentville this fall that we feel you MUST see!

Take your photo at each place or with each of the characters for your chance to win gift cards or Town of Kentville Swag.

Every photo submitted earns you a ballot!

Complete all 20 photos by Friday October 30th and your name will be entered into the grand prize draw for a $100 gift certificate to a Kentville business of your choice!

• Send in a photo of your pumpkin carving submission to recreation@kentville.ca by Thursday October 22nd at 4pm.
• Submissions must include Name, phone number and what category you would like to enter! By submitting your photo, you agree that the Town of Kentville may publish your photo on the internet.
• One entry per person!
• All photos will be placed in albums on the Town of Kentville Facebook page by end of day, Friday October 23rd. The photo with the most likes in each category by 4pm on Friday October 30th will win!

The Great K-Town Pumpkin Hunt

There are 200 pumpkins hiding in the parks and on the trails in the Town of Kentville, and now it is up to you to find them! You find a pumpkin, you get to KEEP it!

• Find a pumpkin with a code on the bottom and take it home with you! Enter your information and code at www.kentville.ca/PumpkinHunt before Friday October 30th at 4pm!
• Hundreds in gift cards, TOK swag and more to be won!

RULES

• All pumpkins as part of the Pumpkin Hunt will have a code written on the bottom
• Do not remove pumpkins that are part of a residential or business display, or that does not have a code on the bottom. No pumpkins will be hidden on private property.
• Maximum of 1 per person (Family of 4 - can gather up to 4 pumpkins)
• Winners will be announced once all pumpkins are found/codes are submitted or on Monday November 2nd.
• Use these pumpkins as you wish!
• HAVE FUN!

All pumpkins can be found on public properly, such as Miner's Marsh, The Kentville Ravine, The Gorge, Oakdene Park, Memorial Park and the Harvest Moon Trail
