Kentville residents elect six councillors and the mayor every four years during municipal elections. This team meets each month during the Council Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting with directors to understand town operations, and to receive recommendations from staff.  At the end of each month, council considers these and other recommendations and makes decisions in the best interest of the town. Both the CAC and council meetings are open to the public, either live at Town Hall or online using YouTube.  All council meetings and council meeting highlights are available on the town's YouTube channel.

Our education 101 sessions are going to be lead by one of our outreach staff, Grayson Titcomb. Grayson is originally from British Columbia, but has been residing in the Annapolis valley for the last 7 years. Through his experience living locally as a transgender man, and working with a variety of different marginalized groups, he has gained a wealth of knowledge on inclusion and belonging principles within community. He will be spending 3 evenings presenting information on Belonging and Inclusion in a self paced and digestible format.

Join us on;
Wednesday July 10th at Oakdene Park (46 Campbell Road) from 6-8pm
Wednesday July 24th at the Rec Hub (800 W Main Street) from 6-8pm and
