Get Outside: PLAYdate Series
Free Outdoor Family Fun in Kentville Parks!
Building on the success of the Town’s Unstructured Play (UP) Program, the Get Outside PLAYdate Series invites families of all ages and stages to connect, explore, and play outdoors throughout the spring, summer, and fall months.
Each PLAYdate features a fun and engaging theme—like Fort Building, Nature Art, Water Play, or Scavenger Hunts—and is led by trained Outdoor Play Guides. These free, inclusive sessions encourage movement, creativity, and social connection in a relaxed, all-weather environment.
What to Expect:
- Free, drop-in play sessions—no registration required
- Held in local parks and natural spaces across Kentville
- Open-ended activities designed for diverse ages and abilities
- Parent/guardian supervision required
- All-weather fun—come dressed to play!
Bring your sense of adventure, a water bottle, and dress for the weather!
Let’s get outside and PLAY—where fun grows wild!
