Looking for fun, free activities to enjoy outdoors with your kids this fall? Join us for Kentville’s Get Outside: PLAYdates—a series of playful Saturday mornings designed to get families outside, active, and connected. Each week features a new theme, with activities for all ages to enjoy!

Weekly Schedule

September 6 – Mud Pies & More PLAYdate
📍 Recreation Hub – 800 West Main Street
Splish, splash, and get messy! Create mud pies, squish, and play in this muddy, mucky adventure.

September 13 – Kinda Fishy PLAYdate
📍 Oakdene Park – 59 Oakdene Avenue
Make a rod, cast a line, and dive into all things fishy with this fun, splashy morning of play.

September 20 – Teddy Bear’s Picnic PLAYdate
📍 Kentville Ravine Picnic Shelter – 32 Main Street
Bring your teddy or favorite stuffy for a cozy picnic and some outdoor exploring.

September 27 – Dance Party PLAYdate
📍 Recreation Hub – 800 West Main Street
Boogie, bounce, and groove at our outdoor dance party! Scarves, music, and plenty of giggles included.

October 4 – Harvest Helpers PLAYdate
📍 Centre Square – 389 Main Street
Celebrate the season with pumpkins, crafts, and fall fun! Dress up, dig in, and get festive.

October 11 – HOLIDAY (No PLAYdate)

October 18 – Superhero Training PLAYdate
📍 Kentville Gorge – 53 Gladys Porter Drive
Leap, balance, and soar through our superhero obstacle course! A morning of action-packed adventure.

October 25 – Leaf It To Nature PLAYdate
📍 Oakdene Park – 59 Oakdene Avenue
Celebrate fall with leaves galore—jump in piles, make leaf rubbings, and enjoy the crisp autumn air.


🌦 All PLAYdates are inclusive and all-weather, so dress for outdoor fun!
