Launching in January, members of the community will be welcome to book outdoor winter gear, like skis, boots, snowshoes, and much more.

Welcome to the Town of Kentville's Recreation Hub!

The Kentville Rec Hub, located at 800 W Main St, serves as a central hub for ongoing town recreation programming. This winter, Kentville is launching our Equipment Loan Program, featuring plenty of snowshoes, cross country skis, and other gear to get you enjoying the outdoors as much as possible! 

The collection of winter adventure gear features adaptable sleds and strollers to ensure every member of our community will have an opportunity to explore local trails. 

Booking Equipment (Opening January 2026)

Borrowing our equipment is completely free for all community members. In order to book any equipment, each participant over the age of 18 must complete an online waiver and reservation form. 

Booking will be available in advance, day-of, and by drop-in. Gear will be available for sizing and pick-up from 5:00-6:30pm on Fridays, and drop-off from 5:00-6:30 on Tuesdays. If pick-up or drop-off times are a barrier for you, please feel free to contact us to possibly arrange for another time. 

Our staff is happy to assist by making sure you have the proper fitting gear, and answering any questions you may have. We are also happy to share our knowledge on local trails, many of which pass by the Hub!
