Equipment Loan Program

Kentville wants everyone to be able to enjoy play and healthy living. That's why we offer a free Equipment Loan Program, available year round, so you can try new activities at no cost.
Kentville's Recreation Hub will be home to our Equipment Loan Program! The Kentville Rec Hub, located at 800 W Main St, serves as a central hub for ongoing town recreation programming.
New Adventures for the Winter
Community members can now book outdoor winter gear, like skis, boots, snowshoes, and much more using our new online system, Booqable. Available winter equipment includes skis, boots, snowshoes, and other outdoor gear. We also offer adaptive equipment, such as sleds and strollers, to help ensure everyone has the opportunity to explore local trails.
How to Book
- Booking options: Online and drop-in during open hours (while supplies last)
- Cost: FREE for everyone
- Waiver: Ages 18+ must complete an online waiver and registration form
Pick-Up and Return Times*
- Pick-Up: Fridays, 5:00-6:30 pm
- Returns: Tuesdays, 5:00-6:30 pm
*If these times are a barrier for you, please contact us. We may be able to arrange an alternative time.
Our staff is happy to assist by making sure you have the proper fitting gear, and answering any questions you may have. We are also happy to share our knowledge on local trails, many of which pass by the Hub!
