Meeting Spaces in Kentville

There are lots of places in Kentville available for meetings, workshops, classes, parties—whatever reason you may want to get together with friends, neighbours, or coworkers. Some meeting spaces are owned by the Town of Kentville and can be rented out at a non-profit rate for charities and other groups.

Town of Kentville Spaces: 

Recreation Hub, 800 West Main Street, 902-679-2539

This building is located behind the Kings County Academy School, adjacent to the playground.  This is a small meeting space (around 300 square feet) suitable for small gatherings or parties using both the playground and the deck.  The space is fully accessible.

Recreation Centres, 354 Main Street, 902-679-2539

Next to Town Hall, this building contains a smaller room on the mail floor and a larger room on the second floor.  The lower recreation centre is at street level with a large washroom.  It is around 800 square feet with windows on two walls.  The upper recreation centre is accessed through a back stairway to the second floor.  This space is around 1000 square feet with windows along one wall and an attached kitchen.  This building has ample parking in the Town parking lot. 

Kentville Centennial Arena, 120 Webster Street, 902-679-2533

Kentville’s arena is available for rent, both for ice and for a meeting or warming room.  The community room is around 400 square feet and is on the second floor, with windows that overlook the ice surface.  This space would be suitable for team gatherings and skating birthday parties.

Kentville Fire Hall, 463 Main Street, 902-678-7798

The fire hall is the largest community space available, with over 3000 square feet.  The facility is air conditioned and is fully accessible with large washrooms.  This space could accommodate weddings, reunions, conferences, workshops, and large or small meetings.  For more information, click here!

Located inside the former Cornwallis Inn building, this is a stunning historical room with high ceilings, decorative walls and window treatments.  This space could accommodate weddings, reunions, conferences, workshops, and large meetings.  

Kings Riverside Court, 125 Webster Street, 902-679-1993

Located inside a seniors residential centre, this is a small meeting room suitable for small meetings and workshops.  This facility is fully accessible.

Kings Arms Pub, 390 Main Street, 902-365-6873

The second floor of the Kings Arms Pub can be rented for large meetings, parties, and other gatherings.

Paddy’s Pub and Rosie’s Restaurant, 42 Aberdeen Street, 902-678-3199

The second floor of Paddy’s Pub and Rosie’s Restaurant Pub can be rented for large meetings, parties, and other gatherings.

The Salvation Army Kentville, 15 Nichols Avenue, 902-678-2039

This building is located in the north end of town and has several options for rooms to rent out, including a large room suitable for large meetings or functions, and a small room suitable for more private meetings.
