Recreation Plan Engagement

Survey #1 is now available to fill out! 

Town of Kentville is developing a Recreation Plan to help guide the future of recreation, parks, and community wellness in our town. As our community continues to grow and change, it is important that our recreation services, facilities, and programs reflect the needs of residents today while planning for the future.

Through this process, the Town will review existing recreation facilities, parks, and programs, examine community trends, and gather input from residents, user groups, and community partners. This feedback will help identify priorities for the next 10–15 years and guide decisions around programming, partnerships, facility investments, and outdoor spaces.

The Recreation Plan will serve as a roadmap for how Kentville can continue to support healthy, active, and connected communities, ensuring that recreation services evolve alongside the needs of residents.

Our survey engagement will happen in three phases:

PHASE 1 - "What is your current experience with recreation in Kentville?" 

PHASE 2 - "OK - this is what we heard, can you tell us more..." - the second survey will take the information we received and ask you to expand on why?

PHASE 3 - "Let's dream together" - the final survey will ask you to tell us how we can grow recreation in Kentville
