Under the guidance of visual artist and expert art teacher Colleen Gerrits, participants will be creating two holiday-themed watercolour paintings. After practicing the watercolour techniques and tips your creative paintings can be used for cards or can be framed. Everyone's art will look somewhat different depending on your personal choices such as how many ornaments to paint, how you choose to place them and what colours you prefer. Come and join us for a creative and festive painting experience while supporting that underprivileged children in our community have a stocking to open on Christmas.

Kentville residents elect six councillors and the mayor every four years during municipal elections. This team meets each month during the Council Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting with directors to understand town operations, and to receive recommendations from staff.  At the end of each month, council considers these and other recommendations and makes decisions in the best interest of the town. Both the CAC and council meetings are open to the public, either live at Town Hall or online using YouTube.  All council meetings and council meeting highlights are available on the town's YouTube channel.
