There are currently province wide restrictions in place related to the ongoing efforts to get multiple wildfires under control in Nova Scotia. 

A Province wide burn ban remains in effect which includes burning of any kind including backyard campfires. No burning means no burning and we ask that you abide this ban.

Kentville Parks and trails are open, and we remind you that smoking is not permitted in any of these areas. Please use extreme care while enjoying nature as conditions are currently very dry and available fire resources are stretched.  Additional calls for preventable fires are a hinderance to efforts in other areas.
