10-4 K-Town: Community Safety and Policing
On May 4, come talk to us about community policing and safety in K-Town! Members of the Kentville Board of Police Commissioners are hosting a meet and greet- they want to find out what YOUR ideas are for policing in Kentville! Join us at the Kentville Fire Hall from 4-7:30. There will be snacks and drinks, and a kids corner to keep the little ones busy. See you then!
The Kentville Board of Police Commissioners is the advisory group for the Kentville Police Service. This group works to help strengthen and improve the Police Service. The commission meets 11 times per year to discuss emerging issues, equipment, and personnel. Members on this board include two members of Town Council, two members from the community, and a representative from the provincial Department of Justice.
