The Kentville Multicultural Festival is a family-friendly annual event that celebrates the region’s cultural diversity and promotes social inclusion. This year the Festival will take place on Saturday, September 16th 10am-4pm in Kentville's Centre Square. It is free to attend, and will be a jammed packed day of performances, food vendors, cultural demonstrations, children's programming, an international marketplace, and more!

Join Lynn Denney and Mona Pearl for drop-in rug hooking on Tuesdays in the Lower Kentville Recreation Centre from 1:00-3:00 pm! Bring your rug hooking (or any hand sewing or needlework craft) and enjoy expert advice in a welcoming and social atmosphere. 

Kentville residents elect six councillors and the mayor every four years during municipal elections. This team meets each month during the Council Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting with directors to understand town operations, and to receive recommendations from staff.  At the end of each month, council considers these and other recommendations and makes decisions in the best interest of the town. Both the CAC and council meetings are open to the public, either live at Town Hall or online using YouTube.  All council meetings and council meeting highlights are available on the town's YouTube channel.
