NOTICE OF DECISION OF COUNCIL
TAKE NOTICE that on September 29, 2025, the Council of the Town of Kentville approved a text amendments to the Land Use Bylaw to remove residential parking requirements and to waive amenity space requirements at the discretion of the Development Officer if the proposed development is within a 400 metre route to a public open space in the General Commercial (C1) Zone.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with Sections 247 and 249 of the Municipal Government Act, an aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning, or an adjacent municipality in which an affected property is situated may appeal Council’s decision to the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board within fourteen (14) days after the date of this publication. The appeal period expires at 11:59 p.m. on October 16, 2025.
