On April 21, 2021. Kentville Town Council reviewed several “housekeeping” amendments proposed by staff to the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB). Most amendments are intended for clarification or to add policy or regulations that were missed during the adoption of the planning documents. In addition, Council has included a proposed amendment to consider multi-unit residential development with some ground floor commercial uses within the Highway Commercial C-2 Zone.
An online PUBLIC PARTICIAPTION MEETING will be held via Zoom Webinar/Facebook Live at 6:00 PM on Thursday May 20, 2021 to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on or make suggestions to the proposed amendments.
Any interested persons are welcome to make their opinions known by submitting either a written submission by 4:30 p.m. on Monday May 17, 2021 or by attending the online meeting via Zoom. (Please note that Facebook Live is view only and not suitable for providing feedback)
