A new temporary COVID-19 testing centre will be open in Kentville starting Friday, October 22 until Friday, November 5. Testing is available to anyone, with or without symptoms, at the Kentville Visitor Information Centre.

Drop-ins are accepted or you may book an appointment by visiting https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811.

Important notes when visiting the COVID-19 testing centre:

• Please bring your health card with you, if you have one.
• You will be required to wear a mask when entering the testing centre.
• Unless you have symptoms, you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your results, unless directly advised by Public Health to isolate.
• The testing method is standard PCR swab or Swish and Gargle for children and youth. Preparation is required for gargle testing. View instructions. View instructions online.
