NOTICE OF DECISION OF COUNCIL

TAKE NOTICE that on May 25, 2026, the Council of the Town of Kentville approved text amendments to the Land Use Bylaw to modify the Home-Based Business provisions and regulations to permit group classes of up to 8 people per class.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with Sections 247 and 249 of the Municipal Government Act, an aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning, or an adjacent municipality in which an affected property is situated may appeal Council’s decision to the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board within fourteen (14) days after the date of this publication. The appeal period expires at 4:00 p.m. on June 11, 2026.
