The Kings County Homelessness Advisory Committee is a collaborative leadership group dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness through strategic guidance and coordinated community action.
They bring together a diverse team of 12–15 members, including service providers, public sector representatives, and individuals with lived experience, to ensure local responses are both data-informed and grounded in the Housing First principle that housing is a basic human right.
Through cross-sector partnerships and active community engagement, the Committee works to identify compassionate, sustainable solutions that support individuals experiencing homelessness while also promoting the overall well-being of Kings County residents and businesses.
