Churches across the Province of Nova Scotia will ring their bells on Friday April 24th at 6:00 pm just ahead of a virtual vigil planned in honour of the victims lost in last week's senseless tragedy.
The Anglican Church in Kentville will be participating in the bell ringing ceremony and also has plans to audio record the bell ringing to be shared at their services on Sunday April 26th. Mayor Snow was pleased to hear the Kentville church was participating in the ceremony, and hopes those who hear the music in town will feel comforted by the tolls of the church bells. "I am sure the bells will provide comfort, and mark a time for reflection for all who hear them".
Those wishing to participate in the virtual vigil can do so via various media options, including on Facebook and YouTube. The ceremony is also being aired on radio and television. You can find a complete list of viewing options posted at heartcolchester.ca
