After an extensive search, the Town of Kentville is delighted to announce that David Bell, P. Eng. has accepted the position of Director of Engineering & Public Works with the Town of Kentville. 

David has 24 years experience as a civil engineer, specializing in municipal engineering design, project management, land development and structural engineering.  David is well-versed in the Town’s infrastructure systems as a result of his extensive experience with ABLE Engineering and, previously, Hiltz & Seamone located in the Kentville Business Park. 

Mayor Snow is very pleased that David will be adding his expertise to the existing staff, saying "his depth of knowledge is unparalleled and he will most certainly be an asset to the team.  We very much look forward to working with David".

The Department of Engineering and Public Works looks after water treatment and delivery, pipes for water and sewer, roads and sidewalks, and all engineering projects.  Engineering Services facilitates and manages the capital and operating budgets for the town’s transportation services, roads, transport program, environmental health, sanitary sewer and water utility. Road programs include town streets and parking lots, sidewalks, storm sewer, street cleaning, snow and ice removal from streets and parking lots, street lighting, traffic services, and signage.

David starts his new position with the Town of Kentville on October 15th 2019.
