Municipal Planning Strategy and

Land use planning bylaw

Amendments to the Town of Kentville Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law were approved by Town of Kentville Council on October 1, 2024.

The purpose of the amendments was to:

• Redesignate and rezone PID 55551774 from Industrial to Residential
• Revise the Medium Density (R3) and High Density (R4) zones with respect to multi-unit dwelling development
• Include a notification policy for the Municipality of the County of Kings for any amendments of the Town’s Municipal Planning Strategy

These amendments will take effect as of the date of this advertisement.  Reports are available at the Planning and Development Office, 354 Main Street, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or at www.kentville.ca.
