This team meets each month during the Council Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting with directors to understand town operations, and to receive recommendations from staff.  At the end of each month, council considers these and other recommendations and makes decisions in the best interest of the town. Both the CAC and council meetings are open to the public, either live at Town Hall or online using YouTube.  All council meetings and council meeting highlights are available on the town's YouTube channel.

The May 1 meeting is a Special Council meeting to review the proposed 2023-2024 Town of Kentville Operating Budget.

On May 4, come talk to us about community policing and safety in K-Town! Members of the Kentville Board of Police Commissioners are hosting a meet and greet- they want to find out what YOUR ideas are for policing in Kentville! Join us at the Kentville Fire Hall from 4-7:30. There will be snacks and drinks, and a kids corner to keep the little ones busy. See you then!

The Kentville Board of Police Commissioners is the advisory group for the Kentville Police Service.  This group works to help strengthen and improve the Police Service. The commission meets 11 times per year to discuss emerging issues, equipment, and personnel. Members on this board include two members of Town Council, two members from the community, and a representative from the provincial Department of Justice.
