Kentville residents elect six councillors and the mayor every four years during municipal elections. This team meets each month during the Council Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting with directors to understand town operations, and to receive recommendations from staff.  At the end of each month, council considers these and other recommendations and makes decisions in the best interest of the town. Both the CAC and council meetings are open to the public, either live at Town Hall or online using YouTube.  All council meetings and council meeting highlights are available on the town's YouTube channel.

The May 1 meeting is a Special Council meeting to review the proposed 2023-2024 Town of Kentville Operating Budget.

Members of the Kentville Board of Police Commissioners are hosting a meet and greet- they want to find out what YOUR ideas are for policing in Kentville! Join us at the Kentville Fire Hall from 4-7:30. There will be snacks and drinks, and a kids corner to keep the little ones busy. See you then!
