Notice is hereby given that the above proposed bylaw has been given first reading and is subject to approval at second reading on February 23, 2026, during the regular council meeting.

The objects of the bylaws are to repeal regulations related to idling of vehicles which is now not required, and repeal regulations related to smoking in public places which are already covered under provincial legislation.

A copy of the proposed bylaws are located in the related documents section of this page, and a copy is also available for inspection at Town Hall, 354 Main Street, Kentville.
