"Want to skate together?" is a question girls often don't hear in their lifetime. Let's change that! Come learn skateboarding basics while learning to channel your style, your creativity, and your edge with other girls! Through this three part introductory program, you will participate in activities that will build your confidence on and off your board. Don't worry, you will have access to many fun resources and challenges for your skateboarding homework and its encouraged to try with friends and family members!  So, "want to skate together?!"

SESSIONS:

Saturday, June 27 from 10:00-11:30AM on Zoom

Saturday, July 4 from 10:00-11:30AM at the Kentville Skatepark

Saturday, July 11 from 10:00-11:30AM at the Kentville Skatepark

No experience or equipment necessary! Equipment will be dropped off to participants for the first session, and collected after the last session. Participants can continue to access the gear following this program through the Kentville Equipment Loan program. Cost – This program is a “Pay what you can” program. Recommended amount - $25 Contribution
