Seniors Multi- Rec League

The Seniors Multi Rec League is a six week recreation sampling program for adults ages 55+. No experience is necessary and all gear/materials will be provided!

Cost: Pay what you can

Tues, October 6 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Kentville Tennis Courts

Session #2: Drumming

Tues, October 13 from 6:00-7:30pm at Oakdene Park (weather permitting)

Alternative location: the Kentville Recreation Centre

Youth Multi-Rec League

Trailblazers

This beloved nature program, allows children to flex their imaginations, build their confidence in the outdoors,move their bodies and have fun!  Experienced program leaders meet students at KCA and walk to the Gorge together for child-led play and explorations.  Pick up at 5:00 pm at the Gorge.

Kids Run Club
Kids Run Club is an afterschool program for KCA students of all experience levels. It is for all grade levels and two groups will be formed after registration based on age. Students will be picked up from KCA by the program leaders at dismissal and everyone will walk to the program location within Memorial Park. The location of the program will never be more than a 10 minute walk from KCA school. Pick up location will vary depending on the week – it’s fun to run in different locations! Pick up details will be sent out in a parent/guardian package after registering.

Fitness in the Park

Join Suzi in the Park for some fitness fun! 

Classes are low impact cardio (with high impact options) designed for older participants or those wishing to have lower intensity workouts. Classes are drop-in are held at Oakdene Park in the stage area. Parking is available at 46 Oakdene Avenue.

Forest Play

The Town of Kentville and Flying Squirrel Adventures have teamed up to offer an 6-week recreation session for 3.5-5 year old kids. Flying Squirrels Forest Play is an 6-week nature play session for pre-school aged children.

Held in the Kentville Gorge, the program will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. 

The program is limited to 8 children and is facilitated by two experienced kids nature facilitators Judy Lipp and Emily LeGrand.

Pickleball

Recreational Pickleball players gather outside on Monday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm at the Kentville Tennis/Pickleball Courts for some fun, free and recreational play. Unfortunately there will be no registered indoor pickleball this season. 

The Tennis/Pickleball courts are open daily until 10pm this fall.

Indoor Walking & Parent-Tot time

Credit Union Rec Complex
November through April
Monday through Friday 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. 

Visit the Credit Union Rec Complex on Park Street from mid-November through April for warm and dry activity. Walk, run or bring the tots for quality play time on the turf field. Monday through Friday 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. FRE
