NOTICE OF DECISION

TAKE NOTICE that on March 23, 2026, the Council of the Town of Kentville approved a rezoning application for 160 Main Street (PID 55246573) from One-and-Two Unit Dwelling (R2) to Medium Density (R3). The rezoning was made in conjunction with a text amendment to the Land Use Bylaw to permit a change of use in buildings which were in existence prior to the effective date of the Land Use Bylaw and that have less than the minimum frontage or area or having less than the minimum setback or side yard or rear yard.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with Sections 247 and 249 of the Municipal Government Act, an aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning, or an adjacent municipality in which an affected property is situated may appeal Council’s decision to the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board within fourteen (14) days after the date of this publication. The appeal period expires at 11:59 p.m. on April 9, 2026.
