NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER PROPOSED BYLAW

Reduced Taxation Bylaw - Bylaw 202

Notice is hereby given that the above proposed bylaw has been given first reading and is subject to approval at second reading on December 15, 2025, during the regular council meeting.

The object of the bylaw is to provide for reduced taxation for properties that suffer assessment losses as a result of damage, and to offer reduced taxation for certain properties that do not have access to all municipal services.

A copy of the proposed bylaw is located in the related documents section of this page, and a copy is also available for inspection at Town Hall, 354 Main Street, Kentville.
