THE TRAFFIC AUTHORITY WISHES TO ADVISE THOSE TRAVELLING THROUGH DOWNTOWN KENTVILLE, THAT TURNING LEFT ON A RED LIGHT WILL NO LONGER BE PERMITTED

Considering concerns and feedback from the community, previously reported incidents, and in consultation with the Kentville Police Service, the Traffic Authority for the Town of Kentville has determined that this change is necessary to protect the safety of those people travelling in downtown Kentville, especially those on foot. Please be advised that once the new signs have been posted the new rule will be in effect and enforceable. Please be patient, take your time, and enjoy the scenery in town while you wait an extra 45 seconds for your green light.
