NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER PROPOSED BYLAWS
Bylaw 205 - Building 
Bylaw 206 - Heritage

Notice is hereby given that the above proposed bylaws have been given first reading and are subject to approval at second reading on May 25, 2026, during the regular council meeting.

The object of Bylaw 205 Building is to support the safe and coordinated development of new structures within the Town of Kentville.
The object of Bylaw 206 Heritage is to modernize the Town’s heritage framework, align administrative responsibilities with current governance structures, and clarify the process for the voluntary registration and management of Municipal Heritage Properties.

A copy of the proposed bylaws are located in the related documents section of this page and a copy is also available for inspection at Town Hall, 354 Main Street, Kentville.
