Committees and Commissions
There are a number of committees and advisory groups in the Town of Kentville that help guide municipal service delivery. Each committee or commission has a page where you can find a description and terms of reference, invitation to apply, application forms, minutes, and meeting documents.
INVITATION TO SERVE ON TOWN OF KENTVILLE COMMITTEES
Town of Kentville is seeking applications from qualified and interested persons to serve on various committees established by the Town of Kentville to provide valuable community insight and perspective into various town programs, services, and policies.
The following committees are now seeking members for two-year terms. Current members are eligible to apply to be re-appointed.
- Finance and Audit Committee (3 public members)
- Bursary Committee (2 public members)
- Investment Committee (2 public members)
- Planning Advisory Committee (3 public members)
- Kentville Water Commission (2 public members)
- Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Committee (10 public members, 5 of which must be a person with a disability, or representatives of organizations representing persons with disabilities)
- Board of Police Commissioners (2 public members)
