Kentville’s water systems are overseen by an advisory group that helps to keep the water resources clean and protected. Members include the mayor and three councillors, a representative from the County of Kings and the Kentville Fire Department, and a citizen appointment. If you have a background in water resources or water engineering, you might be interested in joining this committee which meets every three months.

Members: Mayor Andrew Zebian, Councillor Deb Crowell, Councillor John Andrew, Councillor Cathy Maxwell, a representative from the Kentville Volunteer Fire Department, and a representative from the County of Kings are voting members.   The Mayor is chair of this committee.  The Recording Secretary is Carla MacDonald.

The CAO, Director of Planning, Director of Public Works and representative from the Department of the Environment provide technical expertise with a voice but no vote.  The Director of Engineering and Public Works or their designate is the staff support for this committee.
