Marshview Dog Park in Kentville is a dedicated space for dogs and their owners to enjoy some off-leash playtime in a safe, enclosed environment. Divided into areas for small dogs (35 lbs and under) and larger dogs (over 35 lbs), the park provides a comfortable space for dogs of all sizes to socialize and exercise.

Open daily from 6 am to 9 pm, Marshview Dog Park is designed with safety and community in mind. The park operates on a set of guidelines to ensure a positive experience for all visitors. Dog owners are responsible for supervising their pets, cleaning up after them, and ensuring they remain within the designated dog areas. Aggressive dogs, unvaccinated pets, puppies, and sick dogs are not allowed, keeping the park safe and enjoyable for everyone.

The park also prohibits human and dog food or treats to prevent potential conflicts between animals. Dog handlers must be at least 16 years old, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for added safety.

Marshview Dog Park is located near scenic marshlands, giving it a peaceful atmosphere. With its rules in place, it remains a friendly spot for dogs to roam freely, while owners can enjoy the community spirit and outdoor setting. 

Officially opened for public use on July 7th, 2023.
