Councillor Maxwell is a lifelong resident of Kentville who was born and raised in the Town.  Cathy spent her formative and high school years at KCA and worked for the Town as a lifeguard and instructor at the Kentville Pool.  Now retired, Councillor Maxwell spent 35 years of her adult life as a Physical Education Teacher at West Kings District High School.

Councillor Maxwell loves many things about Kentville, but the recreation offerings are at the top of her list!  Councillor Maxwell also enjoys the wonderful shopping opportunities, services available and amenities of the downtown, and the wonderfully rich history of Kentville.

Councillor Maxwell was motivated to become a Town Councillor because of her belief that new ideas and fresh thinking will move the Town forward in a positive direction.
