• Internet and telephone voting will start at 8:00 a.m. on October 10 and continue until 7:00 p.m. on October 19.

• Voting assistance will be available at the Returning Office, 28 Aberdeen Street, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., October 10 to October 18, not including the Thanksgiving weekend.

• Paper voting will be available at the Kentville Fire Hall, Saturday, October 19, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications to Vote

In order to be eligible to vote:

• you must be 18 years or older on the first advance polling day (October 10)
• you must be a Canadian citizen on the first advance polling day (October 10)
• you must have been ordinarily resident in Nova Scotia for at least six months immediately preceding the first advance polling day (by April 10)
• you must be a resident of Kentville since immediately before the first advance polling day (October 10)

If you are new to Kentville, or if you did not receive a voter card in the mail before the last municipal election in Kentville in 2020, you should check the voters list.  Please contact the Returning Officer to add your name to the voters list.  Al Kingsbury, 902-680-8656.  The Returning Office is located at Suite 3, 28 Aberdeen Street. Office hours are 1:30-4:30, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
